SL300, SL3500e, and SL7550e MOTOTRBO radios need a battery-powered remote speaker-microphone not available from Motorola Solutions until now. The new IP67 RM250 is Motorola’s first rechargeable wired RSM. It has a Kevlar reinforced coiled cord, ultra-thin head with swivel clip, 3.5mm audio jack, and Micro USB charging port. Battery life is up to 22 hours after a 2 hour charge. The PMLN7560 earpiece with acoustic tube can be used for discreet communications and surveillance.
The RM250 is now compatible with the WAVE PTT TLK 100 LTE network radio and the SLN 1000 CBRS device. The “B” version (PMLN7560B) that started shipping in November is required.
MOTOTRBO radio users with the thin and light Motorola SL300 ana SL 7000 series can now add a heavy-duty remote speaker-microphone. Our new 7RSM-M14 RSM has an internal rechargeable battery that powers a loud one watt speaker and 3.5mm jack for receive-only accessories.
Add the Motorola RLN4941 or our Magnum Original receive-only earpiece with acoustic tube for more discreet communications. For high noise environments, the 3M Peltor dual muff HTM79A and the ProTac III with ambient listening are good choices. Any 3.5mm non-threaded accessory is compatible. The speaker in the microphone will mute when the accessory is inserted.
The mic is full-size, IP67 submersible, includes a volume control, spring clip, and LED. The high-capacity 1,50 mAh Li-ion battery charges through a convenient micro-USB port. The black, coiled cord and right-angle SL connector eliminates the need for an adapter. We also include a 3 year replacement warranty from the date of purchase.
MOTOTRBO SL300 is Lightweight and Provides Long Battery Life
Motorola announced the SL300, a new low cost digital 2-way radio compatible with MOTOTRBO DMR conventional communications systems. Available in UHF soon, there is a 2 channel model and 99 channel version with display. Both can be programmed with digital or analog frequencies allowing for easier migration.
The radio provides 3 watts output in digital mode and 2 watts if using analog. The 2300 mAh battery life is rated for up to 15 hours when using digital and uses a Micro-USB charger. A new patented stubby antenna design and “Range Max Technology” provide enough coverage for most facilities. The IP54 SL300 can also be used with a conventional repeater.
UHF models are now in stock and VHF is expected to start shipping at the end of November.
New Active View LED Matrix Display Technology
The optional display radio includes 99 channels and a LED matrix behind the case. The LED’s turn on automatically and off to conserve battery life. Glare is minimized and displays will no longer scratch or crack. The radio will display channel number or alias, battery status, and other functions as shown below.
Compatible With MOTOTRBO Digital Voice Features
SL300 is designed for commercial applications needing basic digital and analog voice features. It supports emergency using the one available programmable side button. With standard MOTOTRBO CPS, you can program channel announcement, lone worker, radio inhibit and remote monitor (decode), MDC1200, VOX, and scan.
